yes there is a law if the building is there for 4 years or more without any "denuncias" then it has the right to an escritura, but these people were granted escritura already and were holding it since completion of the property, therefore the junta should not have had the rights to remove the building, that is why they are coming up with the law change argument, in this area there are probably 10 or 15 so called illegal houses, which all have received escritura but around the albox area there are hundreds without escritura and nowhere near the town so cannot be classified legal under the new planning areas, so it seems rather unfair to have picked on houses/people who at least thought they had done everything legally and obtained escrituras when there are so many others who have no paperwork at all and cant even get mains electricity/water due to the lack of paperwork, or could it be as i suggested in my last post that the land nearer to the coast around vera is destined for some other use??
