I think that the site colors don`t fit , and too the font. I suggest to try some fonds and change it if you consider that. The same idea for backgrounds.

I like the site, i have been involved in website development for the past 10 years, the essentials are:
clean - no background image to confuse the user
non offensive colours - don't give the user a headache just because your favourite colours are red and yellow.
easy navigation - let the user get to where they want to go without a lot of fuss or clicking
useful content - are you providing what the user wants to read?

I think this site works nicely and looks good.

Thanks Emma, nice to hear a nice comment of the forum! I have taken to it now, I liked it at the start - I gave the members the choice of what they wanted for a template design, they voted and chose this template even though I voted for another one.

I look back at the old template and wonder how I lived with that one for so long!

But I agree with you, it is easy to navigate and isn't too "in your face".

I agree to those people who love this site. It is clean, simple and neat. I'm a website designer myself and I appreciate simple and clean website than those that has too much animations and colors. Good job!
