Dear Richie

The "Private Buyers - Looking for a Spanish Property for Sale" is a great idea. If it is only half a success it will mean a gigantic step forward for the Forum.
With a little promotion and some good SEO you could have a lot of incoming traffic from private buyers and provide members with useful leads.

Now that is all very well but we are not all Alphashare clients and a lot of us will be completely eliminated.

You obviously did not mean it that way but this could be a big disadvantage for those of us who are signed up with other data providers or have small, specialised, independant websites.

I first saw it yesterday and quickly got a couple of pages ready on my site to make a presentation on the Forum, without noticing that we are not allowed to post.

I think that you should find a way to make this facility available to everyone. I know that we can all post to the "Real Estate by Area" section but this is right down at the bottom and unlikely to be seen by private buyers.

If it a question of money then I would imagine that lots of members would be prepared to pay a reasonable fee to be seen alongside the Alphashare clients.

What do other forum members think?

I agree with you 100%. Alphashare are expensive and it is a big jump to switch from one company to another.

I have also sent an e-mail to all members regarding what is happening for advertising on the site.

Alphashare is NOT expensive, 135 euros per month, all the other competitors of Alphashare i.e infocasa are more expensive than Alphashare.

I have told you that even if you do not have any properties you will still get leads IF you are an active user.

Not all the Alphashare members will use the forum on a weekly basis so they will be passed to the likes of you and others that DO use the forum.

There is other ways round this, however, I do not have 5K to spend on a database that will run on the forum. As about 80 members are signed up to Alphashare it was the best option, plus it is the best system out there hands down!

If you can find me a BETTER system than Alphashare and cheaper I will listen, but I had to do what is best for members and my pocket! I don't make any money from this, I am just doing what I can to get you guys more leads without having to spend money.

P.S - you will never find a better company, with the same level of support, security, features, design, professionalism and cost ANYWHERE ELSE IN SPAIN !!! AS ALPHASHARE.

I agree that 135€ per month is not expensive, I pay Infocasa 150€ per month, but what about the set up costs and the fact that my 150€ per month includes the hosting of my website which Infocasa designed?
