I voted for the Tropical which is similar to what you have now (Blue).
I like the overall existing layout and just think that you should only change the graphic at the top. Here's an idea for a new competition -
"Design a logo and top graphic for SREF" if a design is adopted webmaster pays an agreed amount, to the winner or designated charity. Perhaps the prize could be other than cash.
Competitors may submit drafts for a shortlist (producing a finished graphic is time consuming). We could all vote on shortlist entries but webmaster has to make the final choice.
However, the overall theme should be decided first.

I chose the Tropical, but then after returning to site, realised it is very similar to how it already is. So I am with Homefinder, I don´t think it needs drastically changing, it is pleasing to the eye and easy to find your way around. Great idea for competition!
