• The urbanization known as Quesada is south facing with excellent views over the salt lakes of Torrevieja as well as a natural reserve and beyond you will have views of the Mediterranean. • In 1972 a man called Quesada Sampa, had a vision to build a town and naturally called it after himself. Now after some 30 years, Ciudad Quesada, Quesada has developed into an award winning urbanization, with its own Town Hall, making it a town in its own right.

• The area of Quesada today now consists of some 6 main areas being the Ciudad Quesada, Dona Pepa, Pueblo Brava, Lo Pepin, La Fiesta and the Golf area. These areas are now populated by a complete cosmopolitan mix of nationalities including Spanish, British and Irish, Scandinavian, German, French and many more.

• Amongst the many facilities are an Aqua Park, Golf Course and Social Club with restaurant, live entertainment, bowls and swimming facilities. There are numerous Bars, Restaurants, Shops including newsagents, supermarkets a tobacconist, hairdressers, banks and medical centre, as well as the traditional open air markets. Ciudad Quesada really is a popular small town centre, yet close enough to the three larger towns, Torrevieja, Guardamar del Segura and Rojales, to cater for all types of holiday. Only 6 minutes and you will arrive at the white sandy beaches at Guardamar.

• There are many outstanding golf courses in the area including La Finca, Campoamor, Las Ramblas and Villa Martin as well as La Marquesa, where many professional tournaments have taken place in the past. Ciudad Quesada is the ideal location to base a golfing holiday. It's also a wonderful place to take an all the family A great location to relax and take time out from your normal routine.

• As you would expect, there is an abundance of water sports available to try in the Quesada area. There are also marinas close by in Guardamar, Torrevieja and Alicante. There are many markets held in the local towns and villages (Rojales is on Thursdays), or a drive into Torrevieja takes you to more sophisticated shopping. For a completely different aspect, the hills which back onto the Costa Blanca offer some superb walking.
