At daytime
• Sun soaking on the large sandy beaches, with a nice lunch at one of the 'Chiringuitos' (beachside restaurants), strolling on the famous Tuesday market on the fair grounds, shopping in the attractive main street or in a large shopping mall, have a ride in either a horse carriage or the touristic train, enjoy the animals in the beautiful zoo, or visit the municipal museum.

• For the sport enthusiasts, there are over 40 excellent golf courses, various tennis clubs,('Lew Hoads' famous tennis club is only 5 minutes away by car) squash courts. A fun filled day at the Aqua Park in Fuengirola or horseback riding and many kinds of water sports are amongst the options. Winter sports lovers will find at only two hours distance from Malaga, a perfect Ski location in the Sierra Nevada.
At night time
• Have dinner at one of the many restaurants to choose from (Spanish or international cuisine, it's all here). Afterwards have a nice walk at the large (5 mile) seafront promenade or enjoy the lively bars and boasting nightlife.
Transport
• Modern roads, good connections with public transportation and all possibilities for ICT connections make up for an up-to-date infrastructure. Near the provincial capital Malaga is the international airport 'San Julian', connecting with the mayor European cities in less than 3 hours flight time.

• Trains from Malaga central station connect with the whole of Spain and Europe. From Fuengirola, Malaga is reached in 20 minutes by car and 40 minutes by bus or train. The coastal village Fuengirola is situated between Malaga airport (20 min.) and Marbella (15 min.) All the mayor car rental companies and also several local companies are available.
Where to stay
• There is a large choice of beachside hotels varying from 3 to luxury 5 stars, apartments or holiday complexes at walking distance from the beaches and city centre.
• Fuengirola is also a perfect place to take as a starting point for numerous visits and excursions to places like Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Gibraltar or even Morocco.
