• Cambrils is a traditional Spanish fishing town on the Coast of Costa Dorada. It has nine kilometres of sandy beaches that have received Blue European flags due to their quality. The main thing that defines Cambrils is its amazing cuisine, which is known all over Europe. Most of the restaurants are high class Spanish fish restaurants, and one of the nicest specialities is the typical Spanish paella.
• Cambirls is known as the sailor's paradise, due to its port and sailing club, which has extended its moorings to 417, which can hold boats 8-20 meters in length. At the yacht club some of the facilities are sailing school, boat hire and a diving centre. The port also has 6000 square meters of dock space. There is also a weekly market where you can buy fresh fish and delicious organic Mediterranean vegetables.
• Cambrils is an old town with a lot of history, dating back to its origins in Roman times. During the medieval times it was fortified and had a wall built around it, but this was destroyed buy a siege during La Guerra del Segadors (War of the Reapers). During this time it was also made a Royal Town by Ramon Berenguer IV. Also its port was a point where the King Jaume I departed with his fleet to conquer Mallorca from the Moors. Industry began to develop in the 18th Century. Today Cambrils is a beautiful, thriving town. It offers some wonderful shops that are buried in the town which has so much character.
• It is here where you can find a more relaxed atmosphere, Cambrils does offer apartments but also casa's (houses) which are normally 2 or 3 floors and on the roof terrace there are magnificent views of the Mountains and the sea. This area is an attractive investment as it isn't the same as other costas in Spain. We don't have thousands of unsold new properties here and new construction is limited, so the market is still an attractive investment with prices predicted to increase by 12% in this area this year.
