Hello from the north of Spain, specifcally Galicia, a somewhat undiscovered area of the country for non-spanish purchasers, though there are certainly more people coming over from abroad, and from south to north, and there do seem to be more and more property agents around here now.... I notice Destination Galicia uses this site, hello to you, I see you are based in A CoruÃ±a, well, we work in the Pontevedra area , and also cover a largish part of the Lugo province.... we are English Speaking Property Agency BK property, working closely with a number of other sites too.
It would be great to hear from anyone around Galicia, how things are going etc....

Welcome to the SREF, I think there are now including you three agents selling property in the Galicia region of Spain that are members here.

Good to see a nice mixture of agents in different locations here.

Is Galicia - in your view a popular choice for foreign buyers?

My other half is from Alcanices which is in the Castilla-Leon region just below Galicia which is near Zamora, very Spanish, but they have had an influx of foreigns starting to move in there!

Mainly Romanians and Eastern block countries, it has taken the locals by surprise!

I love the north, the "Real Spain" but it's too bloody cold in the winter otherwise I would love to live up there.

A BIG welcome again and hope to see more of you on the forum.

Welcome to the forum, Galicia is a beautiful province, just wish it didn't take so long to get up there otherwise we would like to have a place up there but it is just having the time to spend up there, we haven't had a proper holiday for 4 years so buying a holiday home is out of the question!

I also like the look of Galicia, it looks so gorgeous on the photos. I would also love to buy there but think I have missed the boat for a real bargain now or am I wrong?
