Hi folks,

Just subscribed to the forum. Looks very professional. I hope to enjoy some interesting debates and share a bit of humour from time to time. (work permitting)

I run an Estate Agency in Costa Calida and I am a founding Director of Auction House SL a brand new Spanish Property Auction company selling bank repossessions and distressed vendor properties, bars, shops etc.

Hi Spanishproperty nice to meet you. I would like to say I am busy but you would just rumble me by wondering how I found time to post this

In all honesty itÂ´s much better in the last few weeks compared to the terrible start of the year. I am based in Los Alcazares BTW.

How about yourself, I see you are in Torre, any better up there??

Yeah, it's getting better but it is mainly Spanish at the moment - lots coming down from Madrid and it is picking up a little.

This time of year always seems to be quiet, but what can you do? We are looking at other countries as well so hopefully what is lost here we may be able to gain else where.

Good luck with your other countries Spanishproperty. I have dabbled in it myself and itÂ´s been OK. The problem for me is I am a control freak and handing over my clients to an agent in another country worries me!!! I swear I nearly had a heart attack with a Bulgarian agent. Also you have to hope your company name is not tarnished by the associate agent overseas.

Having decided my nerves couldnÂ´t take it, I had the good fortune to get into a nice partnership with Spanish financial guy who is great with mortgages and also offers me loads of Bank reposÂ´ all over Spain. It has given rise to the auction idea and things have really built up momentum. (Probably another heart attack on the way

)

Anyhow hereÂ´s to a good year all round
