Land is the basis of all wealth and it is the heritage of the wise, thrifty and prudent people. Land offers the poor man much joy and comfort, since most poor people eke out a living from their landed properties. However, in recent times the Real Estate Sites in India
is the rich man’s prize, the right hand of capital and the silent partner of many thousands of successful real estate developers.

Even though real estate developments in cities differed greatly in different localities, in most areas, rather than a sprawling outward growth into the suburbs, urban growth was concentrated around highly populated urban cores, which was a result of the influx of the rural populations into the cities. However, in less developed countries urbanization was seen to sprawl outward into suburbs.

In earlier times when the population in the cities was negligible, many of the open spaces lied unused. There was not much demand for the land either. But all that changed with increased urbanization and the growth of business opportunities in the cities. The unabated influx of people from the rural areas and also from other parts of the country not only resulted in the total absence of open spaces but also resulted in increased pressure on the available land also.

Most real estate developers embark upon development of the available land either after an outright purchase of the land or through a partnership with the owner of the land, which is actually mutually beneficial for both the parties. Developing landed areas that have been converted from marshy land is a ticklish issue and rightly tests the skills and expertise of the real estate developer.
