Another way of getting one way links are through directories - some are high quality link directories some not.

addurl.nu has a list of 1000 + directories, I also stumbled across this directory list on a website call bluehatseo.com.

Might be of use to you.

LOL, it doesn't matter if techies are geeky looking - you never see them anyway, we are always working behind the scenes so we don't scare off the customers !!!
