The restaurant is situated in a 17th century building, originally housing an Olive press, which has now been tastefully converted into a charming and intimate restaurant. L’Almacera is Situated just off the roundabout at the bottom of the Avenida del Meditarraneo in Teulada and has ample parking right in front. The restaurant has both smoking and non-smoking areas Our Meal: We arrived at 20:00 on a Tuesday, without making a reservation, and were able to sit down quickly after drinks at the bar. L’Almacera offers an a la carte “Taste of the World” menu plus menu del día priced at €15.00 (€12.00 at lunchtime) for 3 courses, bread & alí olí and a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. We opted for the menu del dí. Starters: The house salad, a traditional Mediterranean salad, that included an interesting stuffed aubergine, and the soup of the day, which was chicken and bacon. Main Courses: Poached salmon in lobster sauce and a minute steak with pepper sauce. This course was served with a selection of fresh vegetable, roast and sauté new potatoes. Sweets: We opted for coffees in lieu of a selection of homemade postres. The bill came to just over €48.00 for two and included IVA, drinks to start, liquors and a whole bottle of excellent wine (Las Reñas). An extremely enjoyable mean in very pleasant surroundings!
