My name is Emma and I first came to work in Moraira straight from school.
I married a guy called Bernardo and we have lived here since then apart from 5 years back in the UK when I tried to anglicise him – but it didn’t quite work!
Nevertheless, I am actually very happy about that because I really love Moraira and our two children are settled in Spanish schools.
Bernardo is a taxi owner/driver. Bernardo's brother (Jose) helps to provide a 24/7 service.
I take the advanced bookings by e-mail and mobile phone and there is another mobile phone in the taxi for local trips.
We try never to turn a client down. When our taxi is booked we find another, either in Moraira or out of town. I have the “other taxis” list with me everywhere I go.
We specialise in airport transfers and provide a unique service for holiday rental visitors. Some local holiday rental agencies simply forward e-mail taxi requests to me, I make all the arrangements, we collect the keys and take the clients straight to their villa.
If required, we return the following day and take them to collect their hire-car.
