Generally: Please be polite when posting or answering. We are a friendly, understanding community and want to keep it that way. Even if you are totally in disagreement with something that has been said, keep your cool and don't be rude or insulting. Remember that this is a public forum; others may disagree with you, so better to make your point calmly and politely. Offensive, discriminatory, illegal or mature-themed material is not allowed - and will be immediately erased. Security: Our advice is that you do not publish personal details online. The Personal Message Service is so that members may contact each other anonymously. If you receive a PM there is no obligation to reply. Even if you do, the other member has no other way of contacting you unless you provide an e-mail address. The Members List is not published: This is mainly to avoid spammers. Joining members must provide an e-mail address but this remains secret. Members may use their real name or an alias. Apart from this they may reveal as much (or as little) as they like in the public profile. To see another member's profile, simply click on the name or alias. Complaints: If you need to complain about another member, send a PM a Moderator.
Try to keep all your topics in the correct sub-forum – we reserve the right to move it to another that may be more appropriate. If you feel that we need another sub-forum for a topic not covered then the "Site Suggestions" is the place to mention this. Clubs, Associations and Charities are fully supported. If you would like a sub-forum opened for your particular group then "Site Suggestions" is the place to request this. However, if we do give you a sub-forum we expect regular postings. If you are posting for advice or support be as specific and detailed as possible.
If you think that you can help another member, please don't be shy about offering an answer.
Advertising: This forum is supported entirely by its advertisers. The "FREE Advertising Section" is restricted to private individuals only. Any member who works or runs a business in the area has just one chance to explain in the "Introduce Yourself Section" and a link to a member's website is permitted in the signature. Apart from this self-promotion is not permitted. Members may freely post URLs to other areas on the Internet but only to enhance or qualify the topic of the post.
