Does anyone know of a football club or would anyone be interested in starting one in Moraira? I have no idea how it would work or where they could play but My two teenage boys would love the chance of a weekly kick about. My youngest son Dan ,fourteen ,sometimes meets up with a couple of friends at the pitch in Moraira by the car park. Does anyone know if its possable to hire that pitch?
If your interested please reply and we will see what we can arrange for the cooler evenings.

If we could get ten people together that wanted to play it would be great.

As far as I know there is no actual Moraira Football club.
We need to bear in mind that it is actually Moraira-Teulada or just Teulada.
There is a Teulada Football Club called "CD Teulada" (Club Deportivo Teulada), they are First Division (Regional) and have grounds in Teulada, near the Cemetary. You will see it if you look on the map.
There is also "Futbol Sala" at the Teulada Polideportivo and Teulada are the 2008 regional champions.
Debra - You will find that the sports organisations would be only too please to help and welcome your kids. Teulada town hall is extremely active as far as all sports are concerned.
You will probably find that the town hall also supports clay modelling (as per your post in the arts section).
I would suggest that you just go up to Teulada town hall and start asking questions. I could phone for you and make introductions but it might be more interesting if you "went in cold" in order to see if they are doing the job.
There is actually a Councillor for Sport and Culture. I don't know him but we should see how ell he has done his job.
