Where is the recession in Spain?

Having just returned from various regions in Spain it was a breath of fresh air not to hear the mention of the dreaded “R” word! Spain are in a Recession too but “Sombrero’s off to them” they are not force-fed all the doom and gloom like we are, and they are just “getting on with it”!......

Thanks Sanchia - Another gerat article! The girl certainly gets about! What was it? - 2 resorts last week, Costa Blanca and Costa Brava?

Recession in Spain: I have to admit that Sanchia is right, it is difficult to believe that there really is a recession and the only way to find out is to ask in the bars and restaurants.
I have been asking and it seems that business is down 20% - 50% over the same week last year. Most seem to be (I'm not sure) embarrased (?) to talk about it.
