Hi Mark

I see that you are a new member. Welcome to the Forum!
You talk about surveys, are you are chartered surveyor? Do you practice in Spain?
You should really introduce yourself to the folks and tell them what you do. There is a special section for this, right at the top.

You might also be interested to know that this is a sub-forum of the SREF (Spanish Real Estate). This is a different kind of forum altogether. It might be an idea to introduce yourself there as well. By joining the the Costa Blanca Forum you are also a member of SREF.

. . . however I have seen more Dutch and Irish (already on the Euro), while some Brits are playing the risky waiting game or suddenly find that financing or selling up back in the UK is a problem. Their desires to move to Spain have not changed, they just have a few obstacles delaying them.
Now that really is interesting! Are you getting that Colin S? Perhaps you should be setting up .nz and .ie domains for Hamiltons.

Nice to talk to you, Mark! Hopefully we will be hearing more from you!

Hi Mark and welcome to the forum.

I agree with you that there are more Dutch and Irish buyers at the moment but they are or will start to feel the pinch very soon (I know the Irisih are) but, having said that a question for Homefinder is, would it be worth buying the domains ie and nz, would this acutally be beneficial. (Sorry to go off the subject matter a bit but just interested).

Back to the crisis though and XL the airline and holiday company have just gone under, this is just another problem we will have to deal with as I'm sure flight prices to Spain will be rising which may well put some people off
