Default The Members List

I see that Richie has reinstated the members list, a good idea I think.
Has anyone seen what has been happening to the SREF recently. It is really taking off - 3 or 4 new members every day!

Default Well done Richie

Hi Homefinder,

That is great news that there are 3 or 4 new members a day.
I am recommending it to lots of people.
Hopefully all these new members will post replies or even create new topics so we can all stay in touch.

Congratulations to Richie and all the forum members that participate on the site.

Hi Emma

I don't know why but lots of people join up, don't introduce themselves and never post. You can see this from the members list.
It seems a bit pointless because, as guests, they can read everything anyway but cannot reply.
Whenever I introduce a new member I explain that they should do this first and Richie makes this ver clear. A lot of mine don't take any notice but at least I try.
I don't think that it is a real problem because the forum needs all the members it can get. It would just be nice to know a bit about them.

PS: I just had a count. More than HALF of all members have never posted. What a shame!
I can see that Richie makes a point of welcoming each one but he can't do that until they say "Hello,I'm here!".

Hi Homefinder,

I hope they at least come back after registering to read what is going on.
Silent participation is better than none at all...

How are things going up in Moraira?
Few buyers here but the ones that are coming are serious and are buying - all looking for a bargain!!

Hi Emma

The situation is exactly the same here. There are some serious buyers around and some of the offers are rediculously low. I think that, in the end they will bid up a bit and the sellers will reduce a bit . . .

I think the real problems is that buyers are convinced that prices will fall and when they think like that - they fall!

Be good if someone could convince the world that oil prices will fall.

Hi Homefinder,
i am with you on the oil prices!

Do you not think that the sellers that are serious have already dropped their prices?
here it seems to be on average between 17 and 25%

the properties with a substantial price drop are getting more viewings than before the market dipped.

Hi Emma

We are really writing to the wrong thread. There will probably be quite a lot of discussion about this so I have stared a new thread "Spanish Real Estate Crisis | Falling Property Values in Spain".
