Dear all,

Our team would like to post interesting QUIZ questions here before we hold our upcoming Seminar on Decreto 218/2005, Andalucía. The Seminar is scheduled for Thursday, June 19th at the Calamijas Hotel, Mijas Costa.

We'll post a QUIZ question here on the forum between 9am-12noon everyday, starting tomorrow, Friday, May 30th, until Friday June 6th. The first person to respond in the forum with the correct answer will receive TWO FREE TICKETS to attend the English Session of the Seminar. I will check for the correct answer at 9pm the same day. It's our way of saying thanks and giving back a little to the SpanishRealEstateForum.com community of members.

We have a total capacity for over 200 attendants in the auditorium and we'd really like to help everyone attend, helping professionals clear up misconceptions and doubts about how to comply with the "new" legislation. You can download a copy of the pdf brochure at the following link:

The questions and answers will vary from day to day. They will always be simple answer questions regarding Decreto 218/2005. Yes, yes...it's Thursday, and I'm supposed to post the first QUIZ question starting tomorrow morning, Friday, May 30th, but in addition to being a stickler and perfectionist on the small details of my field in real estate legislation, I also like to liven things up a bit, and will be giving away two extra free tickets to the seminar

in Spanish:
Decreto 218/2005, de 11 de octubre, por el que se aprueba el Reglamento de información al consumidor en la compraventa y arrendamiento de viviendas en Andalucía.

in English: (I don't recommend translations of legislation, given the subtle nuances of words, verb tenses, prepositions, etc., etc., but having the title in English helps some to understand what it relates to):
Decreto 218/2005, of october 11th, which ratifies the Regulation of information provided to consumers in the purchase and rental of homes in Andalucía.

Explanation: As one can gather from the title of the legislation (yesterday's question and answer), Decreto 218/2005 relates exclusively to the sale and rental of homes to consumers, when they are offered by professionals (agencies, agents, developers, for example). Hence, it does NOT relate to the sale or rental of offices, commercials spaces (retail, retaurant, bars, pubs, businesses, etc.), nor other items such as land or plots.
