Sahl - you did well for an old chap! Congratulations!

You had me out-manouvered at the end. You stayed just in front during Friday and Saturday and I was busy so I wrote a lot of posts to a word processor and intended to start putting them in at 22:30 but you were there as well - you cunning old devil!

Thanks again for a good competition - you're a good sport!

I agree with Sahl about payment. I am waiting for Sylvia to send me details of the nominated charity and post their acknowledgement when it is done.

Now that IÂ´m back in the land of the living and back behind my own desk after a week off on a well deserved vacation after opening another office IÂ´d like to say well done to both of you and I agree with Sahl that there should be a count on quality rather than quantity, after all, I tend to talk a load of old bull most of time so IÂ´d win easily next month.

The June Competition
You should all be pleased to know that the Polop Children's Care Centre received 150.00 Euros as a result of the June competition.
Sahl and Homefinder contributed 100.00 each and the Forum contributed 100.00.

I nominated a charity to be decided by Sylvia Tatnell (Teulada, Social Services) who in turn reccomended that George Smith MBE (Teulada Lions Club) should decide.

George has advised Costa Blanca News who, hopefully, will print a report which we will see next week.

I have only just read this thread; it seems I owe someone the 100â‚¬ for the charities. Only problem is this was not the charity I nominated - who are Polops Childrens fund?

To see what happened you have to read the lot but I'll explain . . . .

When the going got tough (and you thought you might lose) you agreed to give 150 Euros to YOUR charity if I gave 150 to mine.
Webmaster resolved his payment by promising to send us 50 Euros each.

To date I have paid 150 to mine (The Polop Children's Home) but that seems to be about all that has happened.

Once again I must congratulate Sahl for extreme cunning. I spent the aftrenoon writing posts to NotePad because I simply could not get ahead of him (he always stayed 5 in front). I started uploading like mad at 22:30.
That old devil Sahl was there as well doing the same thing!
