Hi All,

Two friends of mine are caught up in the turmoil of Sierra Golf near Balsicas, Murcia. If you have not heard about this, this development is way over due. They should have moved in last April and now have been told it will be August next year, although the houses are basically finished, roads done etc.

The builders (Grupo Masa) give very little info. A few of the owners were so fed up that they moved in without electricity, they had small generators.After a protest meeting last week, these properties were connected to the mains.

My friends now are looking into the possibility of seeking compensation for the delays, they have now moved here and are renting until they can get in.

Has anybody got any experience of actually getting money out of a developer for a major delay in completion.
