Default How its Done

Hi ToniW (and everyone)

I had look at the article, it is very good. I am almost tempted to sell up in Moraira and move up to the capital.
One problem though is that the writer has not used optimised anchor text in your link but just written your domain name.
It would be better like this Property for sale in Valencia

To place a correct link on SREF -
1. Decide and write the correct anchor text for the link.
2. Highlight this anchor text.
3. Click on the globe/link icon just below the white smiley icon and a popup appears. You would need to enable popups for SREF on your toolbar if necessary.
4. Open another instance of your Internet Browser and find the page to link to.
5. Copy and paste the full URL into the popup.

To make the best of an article like this -

Copy and past the text into MS Word to give you a base. Re-write the article in your own words and include lots of fresh content of your own. Past some pictures in. Put some relevent hyperlinks in. Do a personal or company bio at the bottom with the link(s) to include. Submit it to the North Costa Blanca Information Portal or anyone else who might like to publish it. Avoid duplications, to publish to two or more different article sites, change the article radically.

Before you write the article, think about the keywords e.g. valencia, property, properties, for sale. Include the keywords as often as you can in the text, never more that once in a single sentence. If you do this in such a way that it still looks REASONABLY readable then you won't be spamming.

Once the article is published, go to SERF (and other suitable forums) and write a post about the article. Include links both to the article and your site with properly optimised anchor text as described above.

What happens is that Google regularly crawls IMPORTANT REAL ESTATE FORUMS like the SREF (You owe me one there webmaster!).
It would see that the forum post referred to valencia, property, etc., follow the links to the article, your website and from the article to your website and see that these were also rich in imformation about valencia, property etc.

Then back at base the crawler would report this, all the links would be (hopefully) filed under the relevent keywords and you would get two incoming links to your site.

Go for it ToniW. Get your site scoring for more Valencia-related links but first go to WordTracker and find which ones you are missing out on, if any - I think you have got most covered!
