The title for the post is "The best region in Spain". Perhaps webmaster should qualify that. For example are we talking about personal opinions or the most popular opinions. I thought the latter and voted on that.
Really though, I only live in Moraira because I have business here.
My personal choice would be anywhere AWAY from the coast and TOURISTS.
I have a little townhouse in Riba Roja, the "back of beyond" of Tarragona, on the mighty EBRO river. A tiny town with wonderful vecinos who struggle to talk to me in Castellano. If I had any sense I would sell up here, move there and live on my wits (?) Thinking about it, if I relied on my wits, I would probably be hungry - but then I could live on the fish I catch, pack up smoking, get rid of the stress, learn Catalan - and live to be 100.
So my personal choice would be anywhere inland that is QUIET and near a river or lake.
