Welcome and Yes is quiet! Hola Vanessa, Yes welcome. Yes its quiet. I have not sold a property for two weeks now. Thank god for the small amount of young Spaniards who are still buying.I have been selling in Torrevieja Alicante for the last 9 years and before that was the crash of 1988. Between 1988 and 1994 there was a complete property crash in Spain. No one building no one selling. Projects where started and never finished. I stopped selling houses and ran a supermarket then.
Now in 2007 I personally feel that the slump is due ( as you say) to the bad publicity over Spain. I think the Uk press have had enough of immigrants coming in to the UK whilst Uk citizens are leaving. Who agrees?? Also the slump is hitting us now due to the amount of property that we all sold to investors in the last five years. Now they all want to cash in and all there properies have come back on to the market at inflated prices and yet there are still new key in hand properties left to sell on the same urbanisations.
So what do we say now. According to Bankinter property prices in spain are still rising. |
